Snowy Pine Trees in the Fog

11/100 of my #100daychallenge.

To create a very soft, misty effect, I started with a very watery layer. Gouache thins down nicely, but doesn’t move around quite as much as watercolor, so I it stays in place a little bit more, allowing me to capture the “ghostly” image of a tree in the fog.
