The Red Door

35/100 of my #100daychallenge.

In the medieval town of Bruges, lives a bright red door. Well…actually more than one. But this one caught my eye. Encased in grey stone, and surrounded by ornate sculpture and beautiful windows, this bright red door really stood out.

As I paint these doors, I realize that symmetry is definitely a weak point! For some reason I find it really difficult to draw elements on the left side? But that’s where practice and repetition come in!
